Registered in 2000, The Sea Feather Company began providing other companies with down in the capacity of an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The enterprise started off with a strong client base acquired throughout the founder's fifteen prior years of experience in the down industry and has consistently seen sales revenue increase annually since. The Sea Feather Company acquired two additional factories and now manufactures luxurious down-filled bedding and outerwear while maintaining a strong network of corporate clients whose brands stay reputable thanks to the consistent quality of its fills. Down-filled duvets, mattress covers and pillows marketed under the company's Bidekanu brand (est. 2009) can be purchased directly from the factory or through a number of distributors in over 20 countries and sovereign territories worldwide.Since it's inception, the company's facilities have remained firmly rooted at the heart of the Lu'an Economic and Technological Development Zone of Anhui Province, China. This can be attributed in part to it's proximity to the high-altitude grasslands of Mount Dabie which are home to the gaggles of Wanxi White Geese from which The Sea Feather Company's most high-quality down feathers are gleaned. Nationally certified as world-class rare poultry, the breed is preferred by The Sea Feather Company for the high filling power of it's down clusters which retain heat efficaciously. The Sea Feather Company processes 4500 tonnes of down and feather annually, subjecting each batch of materials to rigorous testing upon arrival in their raw state and following each subsequent stage of production. The on-site laboratory is approved by both the Anhui Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision and the International Down and Feather Testing Laboratory (IDFL) of Salt Lake City, USA. The Sea Feather Company's responsible practices have earned it The China National Accreditation for Environmental Management System Certification Bodies as well as The China Good Agricultural Practice Certification.
